This spot in downtown Camas has become a bit of a go-to for me, especially for a relaxed date night. The vibe is always on point—lively without being overwhelming—and the service is consistently friendly and attentive. I’ve been here a few times now, and one thing I can say with confidence is that the food never disappoints. Everything I’ve tried has been solid. This time around, I went with the tacos, which turned out to be the perfect choice—really flavorful and just the right portion. The highlight, though, was the prickly pear margarita. Not only did it look great, but it was genuinely delicious—refreshing, slightly sweet, and easy to sip. One small personal note: I usually skip the chips and salsa here (as tempting as they are!) because I’ve learned the hard way that I’ll fill up before my actual meal arrives. That’s more of a “me problem” than anything else. Overall, it’s a great spot with a fun atmosphere, reliable food, and a perfect setup for an easy, enjoyable night out. Definitely one I keep coming back to.

Delicious, authentic Mexican food in charming, downtown Camas. Must have chips and salsa, tasty vegetarian and vegan options, fast friendly service. If you grew up eating Mexican food in Arizona, New Mexico or California, you will love Nuestra Mesa!

Well folks, we're back. It's been a minute since I've been compelled to write a review from the table but here we are again. We just moved to the Camas area today. Tired, exhausted, we chose the safe option... you can't go wrong with the local Mexican restaurant, amirite? WRONG! Ambiance is cute... they could afford to dust the very visible spiderwebs from the ceiling but the vibe was attempted. Don't twist your ankle on the crayons in the floor or the food you crunch on as you walk through the bar. Fortunately, the drink was good (the ONLY positive aspect of the entire experience). We decided to split fajitas because... it's the safe option, amirite? WRONG. The server (not ours) brought this poor tiny tray of food. Threw it in front of us and asked if there was anything else we needed while he walked away (never even waited for an answer). Yeah bud, we need #1 the rest of our meal #2 PLATES, #3 a fresh hot meal not the crusty cold microwaved crap you just threw in our faces. Could he make it worse? Yes, yes he did. He then verbally acknowledged the fajitas were cold and said "they usually come hot and fresh but they forgot your order". After a solid 10 minute wait, we finally flagged down our server. We explained the food was cold and that we were even told it was cold. We asked for a warm meal. After anotheer 15 minute she returned with a bowl of microwaved beans and a bowl of microwaved rice to mix with our cold meat to make it warm. WHAT? When that hit the table, we asked for our check immediately to which she replies that she hopes everything was really good and we enjoyed our meal? WHAT? We're leaving without finishing it, it's awful. NO chance we'll be back or recommend this place. There are so many better options, this place was overall terrible.

We have come to Nuestra Mesa many times and our waiter is always great (the younger guy) so we always tip well. The food is phenomenal. Great to have a non-alcoholic Corona with some tacos. Happy hour prices are stellar. We are trying to make this a Friday tradition. Keep up the great work!

I've eaten at Nuestra Mesa a number of times and I always love their food and drinks. Their staff are friendly and helpful. I recently had them cater an event and they were terrific! Great communication: responsive and clear. The pricing was reasonable and the food was delicious! They came in and got me all set up for the evening. I could not be more happy with their contribution to a special event. Now I'm hungry thinking about their food...
