I first took my Jeep to Anacortes Automotive when I moved to Anacortes in 2018 and got a free oil change offer from them in the mail. It was clearly a hook to pull me in as a newbie to the area but they were AAA approved so I gave them a try. I did not regret it. I found them to be honest and knowledgeable craftsmen with a good attention to detail at a fair price. Eight years and counting, I am still taking my cars there.

A pleasure to see Dans smiling face at the front desk greeting customers. My concerns, plus more, were answered and explained…in a way that a lady with only basic knowledge of the function of what’s ’under the hood.’ can understand. Thank you Dan and your team for the thorough Honda physical and leaving knowing I am safe on the road. Most importantly, I was treated with respect, and courtesy. Will go back and highly recommend them for their knowledge and professionalism!

My experience here was amazing! These guys went above and beyond for me. Due to issues with WSF I had to call the morning of my appointment to tell them I wouldn't be able to make it in time. They were able to push my appointment to a later time the same day! Once there, they made me feel welcome and made sure I was well informed of the services my car needed and the cost. I was needing to drop my car off to get to my doctor appointment and they even offered me a ride! Will definitely be contacting again next time my car needs to be serviced!

This shop was our second opinion. Noel is whom I dealt with. I explicitly expressed for them to remove the dealerships diagnostics from their mindset. They did not, infact, They expressed to me, one of the guides have dropped into the engine and its keeping the valve open. I asked for a compression value for each cylinder. Noel expressed to me that test is Moot and they dont perform that test. Unfortunately, that test would confirm the ignorance they chose to use when they performed a $194.85 incorrect diagnostic. I would not trust this shop. I brought my Snapon Solus legend and hooked it up to the car, drove it perfectly fine to the ferry terminal which is around 40 miles away. I had absolutely zero misfires as well as zero compression loss. Which confirmed these people really just wanted the high dollar repair. I expressed to them, the vehicle is experiencing a communication loss and they went after an engine problem that wasn't and still isnt present. The issue with the vehicle is a communication issue between the ecm and VDC, which the repair for this is 2 hours of confirming the grounds and circuits are true. Literally no parts to replace. Just cleaning, and these people didnt want to do it. This shop does not use proper ASE procedures to come up with their ideas of the repair needed. Be careful, be aware.

If you’re looking for a place to get some work done on your vehicle I highly recommend Anacortes Automotive! They were so helpful, especially Sean! They do a detailed inspection, and did excellent work on my car to fix my transmission valve body! I was very impressed and will only take my car to them now.
