Midas - Monsey shop4205

Ever since Nat sold the shop to the new owner, quality dropped dramatically. The quality is much lower now, and they try to upsell you with unnecessary services. Literally made up a claim that my car has a certain issue which it clearly does not. I've had that issue with different cars in the past and I know how the car acts - the manager straight up lied (Andrew might be his name). I took my car to a different, slightly more distant shop that's done honest work in the past. They told me the car has ZERO issues. They also did an oil change for another car recently and the maintenance light was still on when I picked it up. Took it elsewhere and turns out they did the oil change with the wrong oil - could've destroyed my engine if I didn't go somewhere else down the block right away. Unbelievable. Your reputation is worth more than a couple bucks, so new owners please note - if you don't train your worker to have a big shift in attitude and honesty, you will lose the trust of the community. tldr; dishonest manager, stay away and look elsewhere to protect your vehicle and wallet.
