We ordered the Johnny Cash and Gold Rush burgers for lunch. Both were very tasty, but personally I liked Johnny Cash better because of the slight sweetness from the pickled peppers. The restaurant has a nice, casual setting, with a fascinating piece of California and U.S. history behind its name. Broderick was named in honor of David C. Broderick, a U.S. senator from California who was killed in a famous duel in 1859. Good burgers, nice atmosphere, and a little California history to go along with your meal.

First time visit and they did not disappoint. Open seat at the bar so I took it. Great choice as bartender Mikey was great. Professional, on top of things, great customer service, and knowledge of the menu and bar menu. Staff was also great. Noticed how everyone is constantly moving and taking care of customers. Same for the kitchen staff. Props to them for pushing out orders quickly. Had a chance to speak with the manager, Stacey, and she gave me history of the Roadhouse and the owners. I re commend stopping by and trying them out. I had the bison burger and banh mi fries. WOW!!

It was fine. My duck burger was good, and I would get it again, but overall I wasn't super impressed. Good food, but not, like, WOW food. Shake was good, but wayyyyy too expensive. Overall, I prob won't be back.

Great place in downtown Walnut Creek for a burger and drink. We tried their bison, lamb, fish and crabcake burger , and all were delicious. I tried their lamb burger, which was exceptional, juicy and tasted like a good old burger. Their burger comes with fries, which are just fries, not secondary flavorings and toppings. This place makes the food as it should be, simple, tasty and authentic.

I honestly wish I could give this place zero stars. From the moment I walked in, the experience was disappointing. The service was slow, inattentive, and unprofessional. We waited far too long for our food, and when it finally arrived, it was cold, poorly prepared, and lacked any real flavor. The restaurant itself did not appear clean, which made the entire dining experience uncomfortable. Staff seemed indifferent when concerns were raised and made no effort to resolve the issues or apologize. Considering the prices, the quality was completely unacceptable. There are plenty of restaurants nearby that offer much better food, better service, and a much more welcoming atmosphere. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone, and I certainly won’t be coming back. Save your time, money, and appetite by choosing somewhere else.
