2 Stars — Great Location, But the Rooms Need Serious Attention The only reason I’m giving The Lodge at Tiburon two stars instead of one is because the location is amazing and the outdoor ambience is beautiful. Unfortunately, once you step inside the room, it feels like you’ve traveled back in time—and not in a good way. If you’re looking for an authentic 1970s-themed hotel experience, this might be the place for you. The room felt extremely dated and in serious need of renovation. Even worse, there was mold in the shower and around the bathroom sink, which is completely unacceptable for a hotel at this price point. It’s disappointing because this property has so much potential. The location and exterior atmosphere are fantastic, but the rooms simply don’t match. A beautiful setting can only carry a hotel so far. Until the rooms are renovated and the bathroom cleanliness issues are addressed, I wouldn’t recommend staying here. There are other choices. TWO STARS — And honestly, that second star belongs entirely to the location.

This was our first time staying at the lodge at Tiburon. The staff here was extremely friendly and they were able to help us, and assist us with every question we had. The rooms are a little bit dated, but they are very clean. I like that they have outdoor seating available to lounge and have breakfast or lunch at. This hotel does also have its own parking locked, which makes it very convenient.

The only thing good about this place is it's location. It is close to amazing city views,great restaurants and shopping and dog friendly. I brought my mom here for mother's day weekend and was hoping to relax,enjoy the food, views and take walks with my dog. The first room we got had a tolit that didn't flush. We were promptly moved but, unfortunately the first night we got no sleep. This place is really old and you can hear everyone coming and going. The doors slam terribly shaking the entire room and every noise felt like it was magnified. We were awakened at midnight by loud and obnoxious guests talking loudly right in front of our door for over an hour. My mom got up to ask them to please be quiet at 1am and was rudely cussed out. While they gave us a free bottle of cheap wine and card for the inconvenience management didn't really seem to care about our return business. We were charged close to $700. I will never go back here and suggest that you avoid it.

Our room was clean and comfortable. It looked like they had refreshed the room with new carpets and flooring. There was plenty of space for clothing and other items. We would definitely return.

This resort was tired and dirty. Our bathroom had mismatched paint and a hole in the ceiling. The pool area was not kept clean and they did not keep up with pool towels. The outdoor furniture and tables were very filthy and falling apart. Do not get fooled by the excellent reviews like we did.
