Recently went to Alvarado Street brewery, and was pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere was fun and lively. I ordered the pig and fig pizza with an added side of Caesar dressing along with a glass of wine. The pizza was so delicious and had so much flavor. I came back a couple days later to order it again 😋 also ordered the cauliflower and broccoli with the chili sauce and had half of eaten, before I got home. Would definitely recommend 👍🏻

Stopped by to watch the France v. Senegal game. Got the Forager Smashburger with vinaigrette salad and the non-alcoholic West Coast IPA (left) and the Classic Smashburger with caesar salad and the non-alcoholic Kolsch (right). Enjoyed the food, service and atmosphere!

I went here a year ago and loved the food and atmosphere… so much so I went back on my second trip to Salinas… I never even thought about going anywhere else. I honestly think they have the best smash burger I’ve ever had and it didn’t disappoint a second time. 10/10.

Alvarado on Main is an absolute gem in the heart of Salinas, California! From the moment I walked in, I was captivated by the unique charm of this fully remodeled restaurant, which was once a bank. The historic architecture has been beautifully preserved, blending seamlessly with modern touches to create a warm and inviting atmosphere. The food was good, and the portions were incredibly generous for the price. Every dish we tried was clearly made with care. The menu offers something for everyone, and the quality is good as well. What truly made our experience memorable, though, was the staff. The team was friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about making sure we had a great time. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Food is tasty atmosphere is nice! Service it's decent, the wait time is long for a decent table, usually you need to go early... couz you will w8 like 45 minutes, we take whatever they have avaliable.
