I absolutely loved my experience here! Mechelle’s haircutting skills are amazing, and she gives very honest and helpful advice. I trusted her suggestions, and both my haircut and hair color turned out even better than I expected. And they also offer snacks and water, and the massage chair during the hair wash was such a bonus. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Michelle was great!! Detail oriented, easy to talk to, and sweet What you can expect for haircut wash and styling - a comfortable massage chair, hair massage, styling tips, and great cut (I love my haircut!) We had a fun conversation about the best Asian food nearby! I’ll be definitely recommending her services to friends and family. I would never recommend this place for highlights! Michelle, who I believe is the owner, did a very poor job and charged my mom unreasonably high. The highlights look extremely blotchy. I even consulted with another hairstylist of a different salon and she even agrees the job was terrible and the price wasn’t worth it. Other than the poor job, she lied about the cost. The day prior, she said it will be $175 but in the end, she charged $370! This is unacceptable as she never clarified any additional service charges before or during the appointment. Disputing the issue was useless too because she just kept gaslighting my mom that she never said $175, which is a damn lie when I was present the day prior and heard the price myself too. According to my mom, Michelle wouldn’t back down and even tried to make her look stupid. She said she didn’t use light brown for the base color because it wouldn’t cover her white hairs. In fact, it can be done. Previous salons were able to do it and the hairstylist I consulted with said it can, so why was she lying? Plus, white hairs are the easiest to dye!!!! For context, she used a dark brown, almost black base without telling my mom. So basically, my mom got charged for a hair color but the color remained the same as her original hair! If she wasn’t confident in doing a light brown base, she should’ve mentioned it from the very beginning! But instead, she kept working and did the opposite of what my mom requested and came in for. I also believe the job was done terribly because of how under staffed the salon was. Michelle didn’t give most of her time to my mom. Normally, my mom’s usual hair services at other salons takes about 3-4 hours. However at this one, it took almost 6 hours. According to my mom, Michelle kept including other clients/walk-ins into her workload and was hopping around frequently. This makes me wonder if this is the reason why the highlights were blotchy. Either she didn’t time or was rushing to include more people, which led to her completely forgetting to blend and do the foils improperly. Overall, I’m extremely upset and disappointed for my mom and I regret bringing her here. I was hoping for a good experience for her, especially because of people’s reviews on social media. And that this place was nearby and was perceived as “affordable” pricing. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case. If you’re willing to spend almost $400 for highlights, haircut, and hair color, just go to an actual high-end salon instead. I absolutely love my new haircut! I also got a hair color and treatment done, and my hair came out so shiny and smooth. It honestly looks healthier than it has in months. The staff were super nice and made the whole experience really relaxing. Definitely coming back!

This is the best and newest hair salon that I have seen in Sacramento, with new modeling equipment, interior design , there is very beautiful and bright! Also, both Michelle and Gordon are so professional hairstylist. They have more than 18 years of experience. They did very good job with my mom’s hair . She did hair treatments and color! She loves it! It’s really recommended to my friends and families.
