I had a great experience with Wimmer’s Automotive. I didn’t wait long and I was made to feel comfortable in the cozy waiting area. The owner, Ritchie, is so nice and informative. Got my smog check and diagnostic on what services are recommended and he went over them in detail with me. The quote for my 100k mile service was half of what the dealership service center quoted. And my vehicle was so clean and smelled great! Haven’t had a car wash that good in ages.

We’ve had our cars taken care of at Wimmers and previously Jim’s Automotive since the late ‘70’s and always had excellent work done. They always communicate if there is a change in the cost of repair which I appreciate. And now they throw in a car wash to boot! This service was for new rear brakes and rotors; the Mini stops on a dime like it was made to do. Thanks Taylor for the great work, and thanks to Claire and Richie for running your business so well.

I’ve been taking my cars here for many years and even through ownership change they have remained outstanding. The staff is always professional, outstanding and thorough. They are above and beyond. Claire was super helpful in coordinating my car repair. Communication on price and timeframe was very straightforward. Grateful to have a trustworthy and efficient team to keep me on the road!

I’ve trusted Wimmer automotive to care for my car for many times. They have always listened to what I needed and did what they can be done to resolve my issue. I am grateful they always fit me in on my timeframe, do my project in a timely manner, and have never cost me more than the estimate. I have referred them to many friends over the years.

I can’t thank Wimmer’s enough. While driving from Los Angeles to Morro Bay, I realized my brake pads had completely worn out. I found them on Yelp and gave them a call—Claire told me to bring the car in for an assessment. I dropped it off in the morning, and by the end of the day it was ready to go with brand-new brake pads and replaced front rotors. I was pretty stressed about the situation, but they handled everything quickly and efficiently. Huge thanks to everyone at Wimmer’s for getting me safely back on the road. 10/10!
