Pretty good! This spot is where my office orders lunch from sometimes. I love their coconut rice, plantains, and beef patties. The jerk meats are good, although sometimes some of them tend to be on the dry/overcooked side. I tried the oxtail last time though and it was my fave so far. They are juicy and tender and flavorful.

Back A Yard in Menlo Park is seriously good. The food is packed with flavor and tastes like real home-style Caribbean cooking. I ordered the goat curry and jerk chicken, served with rice & beans and fried plantains — everything was cooked perfectly. The goat curry was tender and rich, and the jerk chicken had just the right balance of spice and smokiness. The plantains were sweet and fresh, and the rice & beans tied the whole meal together. Highly recommend pairing your meal with a Jamaican orange cream soda — super refreshing and a perfect match. You can also get there home made juice - pineapple guava. Only suggestion: a bigger sign outside the shop would really help with visibility, because this place is too good to miss. Definitely coming back 👌🔥

I got the jerk chicken and oxtail. It was excellent! Every bite was bursting with flavor. The chicken had a great char to it as well. It was a very heavy meal and fairly oily but so delicious. Next time I'm in town I'm definitely coming back.

Mostly a take-out- only restaurant though there are a few seats outside. Got the Beef oxtail plate - good amount of meat and nice for the price (~$18). The flavor is subtle but okay for a quick meal.
