I first came and saw Dr. Shen here in Fremont for my shoulder, neck and back. I work on the assembly line at Tesla and it definitely takes a beating on my body. Before seeing Dr. Shen, I did physical therapy, chiropractic and saw another acupuncturist here in town locally to which I had no success. My coworker told me about Dr. Shen and I don't know why I didn't come here in the first place because the other Acupuncturist did not accept insurance here in town. Dr. Shen's office took my united health care that I have from Tesla and it covered and not only that, Dr. Shen has very strong hands and fingers. Don't let her tiny appearance trick you. When she massages you, she gets deep and her Acupuncture knowledge is by far superior compare to the other clinic that I went to. My body felt amazing after I saw her. It felt sore later that night after the first treatment but she did warn me and after the soreness went away, I felt like a new person. Aimee is super nice at the front desk. Super welcoming and amazing customer service. After 1 treatment, I am pain free for 3 weeks. Dr. Shen said it's a good idea for me to come in once a month. She said it's better to prevent the pain from coming back than wait for it to come back. I will be here twice a month Dr. Shen :) I also went to there clinic in Pleasanton to see Dr. Dayjon the chiropractor. Let me just say OMG...Better than any other chiropractor ever! Just wish he was out here in Fremont.

10/10- Great Service 10/10- Knowledgeable practitioners who can also do ear acupuncture which is rare. 10/10- Price is reasonable 10/10- Team is caring, friendly and professional l 10/10- Facility is clean 10/10- location has parking. I highly recommend. I have gone to acupuncture for years and I am super picky. These guys are the real deal. I will continue to see them.

I originally came to Eastern Medical Center for acupuncture after breaking my leg. I had lingering pain and limited movement, and the relief was almost immediate. Since then, unfortunately, I’ve also broken my arm and my hand at different times, and every single time the treatment produced exponentially better results than I expected. There have been periods where the wear and tear on my hands and arms from playing guitar, editing productions, and working long hours in my studio left me feeling genuinely worried that my arm only had a few usable years left. I went from debilitating pain and stiffness to completely forgetting that was even a period of my life. I now go weekly, especially since I play hockey twice a week, and the difference in my mobility, pain levels, and overall body comfort has been huge. I move better, recover faster, and just feel more normal in my body again. I can’t recommend Eastern Medical Center enough, especially Teresa Shen. She has a deep, passionate history with the practice and has done an incredible job modernizing the process while staying rooted in real, effective care. She’s thoughtful, attentive, and clearly invested in long term results, not just short term fixes. I’d rate this place 6 out of 5 if I could.

Came here and saw Dr. Shen for Acupuncture. I had neck pain and back pain for almost 4 years after a car accident and decided to try her as I have been seeing the Chiropractor in the same building next door for the past 3 years with no success. I've seen Dr. Shen for 2 sessions and each session the pain will go away for about a week or so. She asked very in depth questions and treats the body as a whole instead of just my neck pain and back pain which allowed her to see the root cause of my neck pain and back pain. Her bedside manner is amazing and you can tell she is very experienced in what she does. She has done cupping on my back and massages different points on my body. She might look small but she is definitely really strong and her fingers go deep into your muscles during those massages. She is working on my shoulders because she said the shoulders were causing my neck pain and the migraines I was having and so far, after 2 sessions, my migraines are gone and my neck is starting to feel really better. I will definitely be coming back to see Dr. Shen for more Acupuncture session as I believe she and Acupuncture my be the answer to my neck pain and back pain.

Dr Shen and her team at Eastern Medical Center in Fremont are second to none. From my first interaction with them I knew I was in great hands. They’re polite, friendly, caring, and extremely knowledgeable. I’m so happy I decided to give acupuncture a try as I’ve never felt as good as I do now.
