Get ready yall, June 1st to the end of August minors will be utilizing the gym as there hangout spot. Its such an annoying nuisance to be interrupted by horse playing, taken up the machines not utilizing them just sitting there on the phone, and they absolutely do not practice personal space I really don't see how Planet Fitness thinks this is a good thing to do to allow them to come in for free the whole entire summer and not being mindful of others that's there to actually properly utilize what we're paying for! I've cut my gym session short several times before due to interruption by unsupervised minors and was very upset that I had to drive several miles to go to another gym just to finish my session.

The free teen summer program has completely ruined the Planet Fitness experience. The gym is constantly overcrowded, equipment is always taken, and workouts that used to take an hour now take much longer. Paying members shouldn’t have to deal with this every summer. It’s a great idea in theory, but the execution is terrible and comes at the expense of the people who actually pay for memberships.

I have been emailing and asking to have my membership deactivated for 6 months. My emails are not answered. I have not lived anywhere near a planet fitness for 7 months. The manager does not contact you. The employees repeatedly give me an email address that does not work. Again I've been trying to deactivate my membership for 7 months. I have been fair for 5 months. Yesterday, I was upset with the young lady at the counter and maybe! Just maybe the manager may actually get in contact with me WITH the intentions to return the fee's they were not authorized to take anymore. I am done being fair. It is time to be mean. Do something or I will escalate this even more than you have already. We ALL tolerate enough from this countries childish leadership. Only one thing trickles down, incompetence.

Update Update 11/10/25 New Gym equipment (finally!) After more than a year of broken promises, the run around, and waiting for gym equipment to be fixed or replaced it finally happened. Almost all new machines have arrived. It was desperately needed. Update 8/18/25 Bikes are still broke :/ 5 tall bikes and only 1 currently works today. Some rattle, some of the foot straps don’t work, and 1 is just inoperable. But there was 1 out of the 5 that’s works so 1 Star out of 5 I emailed the planet fitness social team per “the owners” suggestion about the issues and they just told me to talk to the owner about it. Just sounds like it’s a “no one problem.” Fortunately, I spoke to a member of staff last month about it and they assured me that the whole gym was getting a makeover with new equipment late July or even early August… it’s Mid August now (shrug) Update 7/15/25: “Temporarily Broken” signs are gone. Most of the bikes still crinkle and crackle when in use. Update 7/7/25: A “Temporarily Broken” sign has been added to some of the bikes so it looks like they are finally being worked Original Review 6/30/25: Broken Equipment. Most standup bikes work poorly and clink and clank more than my grandpas arthritic knees and some bikes and other equipment are just flat out BROKE. I get that stuff breaks down and needs time to be fixed but this has been an ongoing issue. I was originally told that Covid shut down the supply line for new parts last year but Covid was 2022, not 2024. It’s been a over a year with the same issue and the same excuses but still no permanent fix
