I’ve been a member of several different gyms over the years, and In-Shape has been one of the best overall experiences I’ve had. From the beginning, the staff has always been friendly, welcoming, and professional, which makes every visit enjoyable. One of the things I appreciate most is how well the facilities are maintained. The workout areas and equipment are consistently clean, and it’s clear that the staff takes pride in keeping the club in great condition. The equipment is well maintained, and I’ve found that everything I need for my workouts is available and in good working order. I also really enjoy the additional amenities, especially the pools, saunas, and hot tubs. They’re almost always open, clean, and well cared for, which adds a lot of value to my membership and helps me recover after workouts. Overall, In-Shape has done an excellent job of creating an environment that makes me want to continue my membership. I’ve had many gym memberships over the years, but this is one of the few where I genuinely look forward to coming back. The combination of a clean facility, quality equipment, great amenities, and a friendly, attentive staff makes In-Shape stand out from the rest.

First off i would like to preface this by saying, I’ve been to a lot of gyms across the country but have never had an experience quite like this one. We first visited this location after touring a few others, Suisun, the 2 in Vacaville and the one in Fairfield. After looking at them all my wife and I decided the Fairfield one had the best options. Fast Forward and keep in mind for my wife and I $120 a month plus the annual maintenance fee. The gym feels big when you first walk in and you think you’ll have plenty of exercises and weight lifting options available. We went at 930pm expecting a little less people than the atmosphere let on. There was no one at the front desk when we checked in and felt like anyone could walk in without issue. It wasn’t even rush hour at the gym and the place was packed. Equipment wasn’t available and being wiped down by either personnel or by members. The pools were another story by themselves, while I understand it’s summer and it may not be possible to keep the pools pristine; the amount of dirt and grime build up on the bottom and walls of the pools was terrifying. There was green algae growing inside on the corners of the pools and in the hot tub brown microbial foam clumps. The only reason I’ll give this a 1 star and not 0(if I could) is the staff was friendly and was able to accommodate us with canceling our membership. I wish anyone good luck getting a good workout here. Especially when you pay $120 monthly and a yearly 89.99 maintenance fee. Wonder where all the money is going, because it’s certainly not to keeping the gym clean.

I want to recognize Juana for the incredible work ethic and professionalism she consistently demonstrates at In-Shape. Unlike many employees I’ve observed at this location, Juana is constantly moving, helping members, cleaning, organizing, and ensuring the gym runs smoothly. She never appears distracted, hiding behind her phone, or sitting away in an office. Instead, she is always present, engaged, and working with a positive attitude and a smile on her face. What stands out most is her consistency. Every time I come to the gym, she is working hard and setting the standard for customer service and dedication. In all my time as a gym member, I honestly have not observed anyone at this location work as hard as Juana does. Employees like her are rare, and I truly believe she deserves recognition and consideration for promotion. Her work ethic, professionalism, and attitude do not go unnoticed by members.

I'm new to this gym and only checked out the kid zone so far. The staff was welcoming, friendly and the kids playing were obviously comfortable with the staff. Really grateful they have good staff for the kids because that's hard to find.

I really love the staff at In-Shape - Dover — everyone is so nice, especially Mr. Paris and Mr. Lucas in the kids zone. My 4-year-old son, Lucas, absolutely adores them! They are incredibly kind and caring with the children. I highly recommend Dover In-Shape. I feel completely at ease letting my child play in the playroom while I work out outside!
