I am leaving a 2 stars based on previous experiences with Carini. Otherwise, this is a 1 star review. I’ve been a loyal Carini Heating & Air customer since 2022, using them for multiple homes and recommending them throughout our community. Unfortunately, our recent experience was extremely disappointing. We scheduled ductwork replacement to fix uneven heating and cooling and were assured the job would be completed before our out‑of‑town guests arrived on August 19. Work began on August 10, but deadlines were missed, an entire room was left disconnected, and a technician returned without the materials needed to fix the issue. This resulted in multiple days of delays. The situation worsened when I missed two family plans — including dinner reservations — waiting for technicians who never arrived. A technician quitting mid‑project is not the customer’s fault, yet our job was pushed to the end of the schedule instead of being prioritized, even though we had already paid the invoice. As of August 24, two weeks after the start date, the job was still unfinished and being worked on late into the evening while we had guests in the home. To make matters worse, Carini has not responded to the correspondence I sent over a week ago, despite the seriousness of the issues and the impact on our household. This was unprofessional, poorly coordinated, and far below the level of service we expected from a company we’ve trusted for years.

I needed a quote for ductless mini-splits in our single-family home here in Poway (~1,800 sq ft). Shawn came out and educated me on my options, and I settled on a tri-zone split plus a single large unit for the living room/common areas. I went with Mitsubishi and opted for both cooling and heating. They were able to schedule me without delay and the entire job took about 2.5 days. The teams were professional and courteous and we had excellent communication throughout. Very pleased with the quality of work. Fantastic service! Adan was friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. When our hot water heater broke we were worried it would take a few days before it could be replaced. Adan worked with his office to get us a replacement and install right away. He walked us through what needed to be replaced and answered all of our questions. We are so happy we found Carini Home Services.

Cameron was great. Very professional and knowledgeable. He kept the work environment clean and was very polite. 10 out of 10. Highly recommend. I hope the next time I need service Cameron is dispatched again.

Dylan was very thorough with troubleshooting and explaining how the HVAC system works. He was able to determine how old the unit is and explained how much more energy it is using. He got my A/C back up and running which was the reason for the call, but I really appreciated how much knowledge he shared with me. I will definitely use Carini Home Services again! When I am financially ready I will one day purchase a more energy saving unit and Carini will be the one I call.
