The worst experience I ever had with Jesse Penny Portraits was at Montebello and I’m posting this year in the Downey location because I was told Nikita the manager managed both stores. I have to say she is unprofessional that has no idea what she’s doing. They checked us in, and they kept plowing the clipboard on top of each other so another customer came in they got photographed first another customer came in. They put the clipboard on top of mine and take off photograph first I had to speak up and ask them. When was my turn to be photographed. I waited in one hour to be photographed it wasn’t even a busy day. They had two people in the waiting the Photographer Abigail, the editor Olivia was the worst people I ever met. Let’s start with a photographer. She was nice in the beginning. I thought she knew what she was doing. I was wrong. It took us 15 minutes I felt rushed and she was not paying attention to what we wanted and how to oppose our family members. It took 32 minutes to edit our photos once we saw the photos we asked only to buy the digital files. I paid $256 for it. I waited 48 hours to receive my photos over the email from Shutterfly what did I receive? I receive garbage the photos weren’t even edited. Some of them didn’t even have a light on. There are two dart I don’t understand how this was approved by Shutterfly and approved by Nikita she reached out to me offer me to 10 x 13 prince for free and a race shoot and wave my session fee I declined. My phone members came from a different state. I can’t ask him to come back. The worst experience I ever had. I’m posting this here in the Downey one and the Montebello one that Jc Penny page as well. The staff was not friendly. they seemed like they were sick because they were coughing every 10 minutes. They didn’t have face mask on. Nikita needs to go back to training. Staff need to go back in training. I am sharing my photos what I received from Shutterfly.

Well this time I got give 2 stars reason it they really dont carry shorts for women in plus size sorry it is they tell me go internet maybe not everybody has computer or I Phone HELLO that my elderly mom LOL! least I found some underwear in my size that good JC Penney put the sign back on like Celicia street or other street that used to be there for years years what up with that you guys sucks

They had a good selection and things were in good order. The cashier was very nice. The only issue was there ware no sales people around to help and the fitting rooms had not been cleaned out.

I like Penney's but the other day while shopping at the Downey location for a suit for our wedding, we were approached by a sales associate and were told something in Spanish, which I do not speak, when I asked the associate if she spoke English she said no. That's fine, but not fine if you are in sales, I would have at least thought maybe she would have got someone who spoke our language to assist us. We ended up leaving because nobody was around to answer our questions

We went shopping to this JCP, and as usual this store is well organized and clean, men’s restroom was closed so I went to the one in the mall, not a big deal. The cashier was distracted, he almost charged me twice one item. Just to be sure I counted the items before I left. This wont make me stop visiting this store, but I will pay more attention when paying.
