I just watched Devil Wears Prada 2. It was an 8:40 showing on a rainy day. With very few people in the room to enjoy the movie, i enjoyed a nice Coke Zero and some Patty Mints. The lady running the place was hospitable and friendly. Fun to talk to. I was amazed by the size of the theater. It was all around a great time seeing as I came alone and felt the vibe the movie offered. Be true to yourself.

. This cinema was our favorite for over a decade, and we always looked forward to coming here. Unfortunately, our recent experiences have completely changed how we feel. We have repeatedly experienced rude and disrespectful treatment from a staff member named Samantha. at 8 pm spiderman movie As older customers, we felt harassed and spoken to in an unacceptable manner. The most upsetting moment was when she spoke harshly to my granddaughter in front of me, telling her to "stand in line properly. My granddaughter was standing next to me, away from a group of boys behind her, and simply stepped forward to remain with me. There was no reason to embarrass or single her out in front of other customers. As a grandparent, it was humiliating and very upsetting to witness. We also witnessed students being treated disrespectfully, including having Pepsi drinks taken from their hands while they were watching a movie and being spoken to loudly in front of others. The entire experience was stressful and uncomfortable. She is enforcing rules that don't exist. There was no sign on the door or any warning about outside drinks being banned in the cinema, so she has no right to take those drinks away from the students." A movie theater should be a place where people come to relax, have fun, and enjoy time with family and friends not leave feeling stressed, embarrassed, or unwelcome. After many years of loyalty, we have decided to go to another cinema because this is not the welcoming environment we are looking for. I hope management takes these concerns seriously and provides additional customer service training so that all guests including families, students, and older adults are treated with courtesy and respect. We truly miss the friendly atmosphere this cinema once had. Not recommended at all

Went on a quiet rainy day. Cute front desk, lovely atmosphere, and a nice experience overall. The seating seemed reminiscent of old repertory theaters. Popcorn is stellar as ever. Make sure to grab a good seat on packed nights having in mind they are positioned relatively on the same level. Great surround sound and immersion. A choice place for your cinematic endeavors.

This is such a great local, independently owned theater. The people who work here are incredibly friendly and the theater seats are comfy! A Davis gem.

We love supporting our local independent movie house over the chain theaters in the area. The movie offerings are excellent, the popcorn is fresh, and their commitment to serving the Davis community is wonderful. Yesterday (Saturday, 1/24) we stopped by to pick up a gift certificate and were helped by the sweetest and most welcoming staff person. She was amazing -- we'll be back soon!
