My absolute favorite place in Davis as a college student! Inferno Pilates is a motivating, challenging workout, especially if you sit at a desk all day. I went three times a week and saw a huge difference in my strength and endurance. The welcoming and encouraging instructors were just another reason I loved coming back. I wish there was a studio in the Bay Area. Also really appreciated that they provide mats, blocks, and bands.

I've recently finished my degree at UC Davis and had to say goodbye to Akasha! I attended HIIT pilates, vinyasa and yin yoga almost everyday and was never disappointed with the class structure nor instructors. Akasha improved my physique but it more importantly served as a therapeutic break between rigorous and cognitive demands from school. I'm forever grateful for the sweat and community it has gifted me and miss it dearly. I absolutely recommend attending and making this your home studio.

I travel out of my way to come to the hot vinyasa classes here as often as a I can. Margaret L is such a great instructor. She’s calm and confident in her instruction. Her pace is perfect - challenges me to keep up and keeps me from looking at my watch. Each class feels like an accomplishment.

Love this studio! 💕 The hot Pilates classes are an amazing hot HIIT workout, and they get better every time. Steve is a great instructor and motivator and brings such good energy to class. The $59 unlimited month special (with a mat towel) was a great deal and totally worth it. Can’t wait for many more classes!

TLDR: Great studio for hot pilates and vinyasa. Affordable, well-run, and the instructors know what they're doing. Steve is a standout for hot pilates — expect a solid workout. New to vinyasa but have enjoyed both teachers I've had; the flow and rhythm come naturally once you're in it. A few practical notes for newcomers: arrive 15 minutes early to claim your spot. Morning and early afternoon tend to be less crowded. Bring your own mat and two towels — one for the mat, one to wipe down. Light clothing is a must, and pack a change of clothes if you run warm. Mats are available and towels are sold if needed. Cubbies for shoes and bags, plus a dressing room and bathroom on-site. Plans are affordable and worth it.
