As a pregnant client, I left feeling disappointed by the overall experience. From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere was not particularly welcoming. The owner, Susan, came across as rude and uninviting. I was initially told that the 1.5-hour prenatal massage that is advertised could not be accommodated and that I would need to accept a 1-hour massage instead. After I declined, they were somehow able to honor the original 1.5-hour service, which left me confused as to why it was presented as unavailable in the first place. The room itself was uncomfortably hot with virtually no airflow, making it feel very stuffy throughout the entire session. As a pregnant client, this was especially uncomfortable. The massage table was also very narrow and not particularly comfortable. The massage therapist was very sweet and personable, and her pressure was excellent. However, she asked more questions than I prefer during a massage. I also noticed a significant tremor that was consistently felt throughout the treatment, which made it difficult to fully relax. For me, the ideal massage environment includes a cool room with good airflow (or at least a fan), dim lighting, relaxing music played loudly enough that I don’t hear every breath, minimal conversation beyond occasional comfort check-ins, and thoughtful amenities. I was provided only a small paper cup of room-temperature water, which was not particularly refreshing given how overheated I felt throughout the appointment. Overall, the amenities, environment, and customer service did not meet my expectations. The front desk staff, including the owner, were not especially friendly or welcoming, and the experience lacked the level of comfort and hospitality I look for when booking a prenatal massage. Unfortunately, I will not be returning for another appointment.

I think that Dasha here is a miracle worker - I don't want the secret to get out but she is amazing. Custom massage is nice and I also tried my first ever cupping experience here and it was so nice and comfortable. I need a massage here at least once to twice a month! When I moved back here 2 years ago, I had been trying multiple places and it was hard to find one that was consistently good every time but then I found Dasha and I don't have to go anywhere else. This place is small and not the kind where you bring all your friends at one time (but I have been able to get a massage done at the same time as my friend here). The owner has been here for about 30 years and they are just so sweet and welcoming. My friends have loved their massages here as well.

I had the pleasure of getting a custom massage today with Susan, she listened to all my concerns and did a hybrid lymphatic drainage massage combined with muscle work on my very tight back muscles. It was perfect! Thank you Dana Point Bodycentre💕
