I haven’t been in this place in a while I decided to come mostly to watch the Mexico game and I was pleasantly surprised by the service of Nadia and her recommendation from the new appetizer menu camarones al mojo de ajo just unbelievable to the tacos de adobada on taco Tuesday I’ll be coming back for sure!!!

Had a reservation for 12:15p & we got seated at 1:55p. The brunch buffet ended at 3…. There wasn’t a lot of food left (because of the time) which made it feel like we were getting scraps. Besides water, there wasn’t any non-alcoholic beverages left. I grabbed a total of 4 spoons for pozole and every single one was DIRTY. Had to wait 2-3 mins for plates & every single one was DIRTY. It was as if they didn’t scrape the plates or utensils before running it thru the dishwasher & then just took it out before being completely sanitized. The long wait & the lack of food & drink options can be overlooked, however, the cleanliness & sanitation CANNOT. Extremely disappointed & disgusted! 0/10 do not recommend for a holiday.

Our server Ana was extremely helpful and kind. Fast servers and friendly smile. Frequently checked up on us making sure everything was good or if we needed another round of drinks. She provided excellent service on our night out. Will return because of her. 6/2

I was there for taco Tuesday 1/27/26. As i waited for my friend to arrive i was sitting at the bar where the best Bar tender Sofia was having a conversation with a difficult client and i think she handled him with professionalism. I was close enough to hear and Apparently this client gave el torito a bad review , from what i gathered she was simply trying her best to make it right. He complained and complained and complained to her about the drinks and the service he received the last time but he kept asking for beer to test and each time he got a full glass. As he drank and tried different beers to “ensure” like or dislike he continued complaining. After a few drinks he left without paying saying he was not happy with the drinks and service. I’m actually disgusted at his behavior, but my hat goes off to Sofia the bartender who handled him with class and grace. This person needs to go somewhere else if he really doesn’t like the drinks , food or service at el torito. Especially if he’s just complaining to get free drinks and food. As for me and my friend we had the best time. We caught up over amazing tacos with salsa and big micheladas. Sol (i believe that’s her name) she was so sweet making sure we had endless chips and salsa and Sofia was so sweet and attentive. I just hope me and my friend made her forget all about that horrible client. Everyone at el torito seemed to be enjoying the food and the atmosphere. so, i hope the service people were treated with the respect that they deserve. Things happen but it’s our behavior in response that makes a difference. Let’s all try to be better especially to those serving us. Thanks Sofia for helping us have a great experience today. Can’t wait to come back again.

We've been coming here for a couple of months now, since our usual El Torito sites have closed down. Tonight, we had the pleasure of being attended to by Brooke. WOW! She is amazing! She treated us like family, constantly checking in on us to make sure that we were ok, but not overbearing. We will definitely be back and ask to be seated in her section from now on! Also, I'd like to say that Sol is just as amazing. Sol is very attentive and welcoming, and also treats us like family every time we come in! 💜
