I truly love this Safeway. I think most people don't stop to think about the difference their local grocery store can make, but having happy, friendly faces every time you shop really matters. I've almost always had a wonderful experience here, especially with the Drive Up and Go team. So many employees have gone above and beyond to help me, and I wish I could remember everyone's names. My most recent experience was with Debbie, who has helped me several times. She's always cheerful, incredibly helpful, and it's genuinely nice getting to say hello to her. I've also had fantastic experiences with the floral department. I believe the person who has helped me multiple times is Nayeli. I apologize if I spelled her name incorrectly. One time I accidentally bought balloons that couldn't be filled with helium, and she took the time to help me put everything together so it was ready for my event. She really went above and beyond. Thank you to everyone at this Safeway. Please know that your kindness, positive attitudes, and smiling faces truly make a difference in someone's day. It doesn't go unnoticed, and it's one of the reasons I enjoy shopping here.

I generally enjoy shopping here, but I have a few concerns. The dairy section often has stock issues, and products in the back aren't put on the shelves. Additionally, the deli staff can be uninterested and slow. Lastly, I sometimes find expired or spoiled produce on the shelves. I hope these issues can be addressed.

The place is torn up outside. They're also reorganizing the aisles which Safeway never makes sense anyway. Prices are exorbant. I bought less than a pound of sandwich meat (I wanted pastrami, but they didn't have any so I go turkey), cheese, bread, some cheap wine and I literally got only three sandwiches out of the meat. I didn't buy really anything else but spent around $100 for three sandwiches. I really hate going to this store.

Ended up grabbing a sandwich from the hot deli case and it actually made my day. Everything was fresh and the cashier was super nice

Upon my visit to Safeway today I was racially profiled by the self check out lady (shorter woman I believe she is Asian or Filipino, has long black hair and wears glasses) as my boyfriend and I pulled our cart up to the scanners I noticed there was SEVERAL receipts left by prior customers. So I grabbed both the ones on his machine and mine and threw them into our cart so that we don’t have to sort through god knows how many receipts before finding ours at the end of our transaction. The lady IMMEDIATELY came up to me and said “ what are you doing with those receipts?!??!” I said “Moving them out of the way so we can properly get ours!” Being questioned on something so stupid made me mad so I grabbed the receipts and basically threw them into her hands after that because I hadn’t even got the opportunity to scan my items yet this woman is assuming SOMETHING whatever it may be about my character. Lady I got a tonsillectomy one week ago today, you see what I am purchasing and you can hear the pain in my voice… what is your mojo here? I had to do YOUR job to have a proper self check out experience, if she would have removed them as I’m assuming is one of the few duties of her position at self check then this wouldn’t have been a problem in the first place. So finally I get to scan my items, in a frustrating fashion because I came to self checkout to not be spoken to in the first place ( it hurts to talk due to my recent surgery ) and at the very end once my boyfriend and I have bagged our items GRABBED OUR RECEIPTS and started to cart away she came up saying “ I’m so sorry, I’m so so sorry “ that’s not good enough lady. I said “ yeah, yeah, sure yeah “ because the fact it wasn’t just one machine it was BOTH of ours that had 2+ receipts I could tell that yes she targeted me today but she probably targets people on a daily for simply not doing the task to her own job. This all happened at approximately 4:30 pm 03/17/26 beware people!
