One Fish absolutely lived up to the hype. I love that the menu changes constantly with the seasons, so there’s always a reason to come back. Every dish felt fresh, thoughtful, and packed with interesting flavor combinations that somehow just worked. I mixed hot and cold dishes and everything was outstanding. The oysters with their accompaniments were incredibly fresh, the halibut and kanpachi were beautifully prepared, and the fried chicken with sauce and caviar was one of the most unexpectedly delicious bites I’ve had in a long time. The sake selection was excellent as well. The atmosphere strikes a perfect balance between upscale and relaxed. Great music, a clean and intentional space, and genuinely friendly service. Walked in without a reservation, but it’s nice that they can accommodate both walk-ins and reservations. Chef Owner Trent was welcoming, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about what he’s creating. Skipped the omakase this visit, but after this meal it’s at the top of my list for next time. One Fish is inventive without being pretentious, and it’s the kind of place you’ll want to return to every month to see what’s new.

This was a truly special meal and every bite hit it out of the park. The tasting menu is creative and robust, and we were full by the end of it. I’ve been telling people it was the best meal I’ve had this year, and that still holds true almost into May! I’m so glad we chose to spend an evening here and I can’t wait to come back. Standouts were the raw fish round with the salmon dish with thin apple slices and the tuna with what I think was a red pepper puree. The hamachi crudo and the oysters were outstanding, as was the liver mousse crustini. The grilled fish with bao buns was my favorite warm dish. My only critique is the dessert was a bit too rich for my taste. What a problem😂

Excellent omakase experience! Very unique with surprises like corn bread, ravioli and cheese cake. It was a very slow night so we had the opportunity to chat directly with the two chefs and the waiter. Interesting sake pairings with the meal.

Everything here was amazing , fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. Also we came on a Sunday afternoon and happened to catch an art festival with live music, which made the whole experience feel extra special. The atmosphere was vibrant, relaxing, and full of energy. Great food, good vibes, and such a memorable way to spend a good time!

This is the kind of meal that has you still dreaming about it the next day. I had been hearing great things about @onefishrawbar and @cheftrent1 and now I understand the hype. 🤯 I ordered the Loch Duart Salmon with Salsa Macha, Green Apple Pacific Gold Reserve Oyster with Makrut Lime, Kiwi Short Rib Bao Bun with Kabiyaki, Pickles The One Fish Chowder and Blue Fin Tuna Tori (not pictured) was incredible. It’s one of those rare places where *every single bite* is umami, flavor-packed and totally craveable. 10/10 will return again and again
