This place is the oldest restaurant in San Francisco. Street parking only. Outdoor and indoor seating. I highly recommend making a reservation for big groups. This place is always crowded. Get ready to wait in line. I came here for their unique cocktails and I was not disappointed. Next time, I'll try their food.

At the outskirts of San Francisco lies this historic gem! This is a great place to have a good time with friends and family. I ordered the pork adobo dish and it is a must try! Lovely presentation and the adobo was served sizzling on a hot plate. It was my first time trying fish lumpia and it was a great flavor. There are so many more dishes on the menu that I want to try. This place is great for a group and the outside patio is chill on a sunny day. I hear the desserts are lovely as well!

So grateful they could last minute accommodate our group of 20 here after our weekday hike. Don't skip out on their ube tres leches cake with fresh sliced strawberries on top! Amazing and kind staff for a bar that is a historical roadhouse I read the articles about in the restroom. LOL *Re: Their online ordering platform' UI doesn't make it clear there was an automatic 20% gratuity included for our large group. Not the restaurant's fault, but I had to call after to refund the extra 20% tip I added because I didn't see the auto-gratuity, but they were super kind. No questions asked, staff saw the double charge and refunded the second 20% tip.

Had an amazing time here, the food was so good. We ordered the Sisig with a side of arroz caldo, Cow palace burger, garlic fries, ube hot chocolate and mango juice. The sisig was sooo good, unfortunately it was a bit spicy for me but my partner enjoyed it a lot. Everything else was delicious, the cow palace burger is so worth it as it can be a good meal for 2 even 3 people plus it comes with fries. It was my first time trying the ube hot chocolate and I absolutely loved it, perfect for the cold weather. We saw that some reviews mentioned the filipino food isn’t “impressive” but that honestly couldn’t be further from the truth. My partner, his family, and friends all being Filipino and having lived around this area for a long time say the food is delicious and quite homey. They also have a DOGGY MENU, which we took full advantage of! Our dog is quite small but we were given to-go boxes to split up his dish and they also provided him with a free biscuit and a water bowl! Great environment, it was a super cold day and we asked for the heater since we were seated outside. They set up quickly for us and even helped us adjust it to an appropriate temperature. Thank you to Jas as well, out waitress, who was outstanding and super on top of it!

I've been a repeat offender to this establishment for a few years. A couple times a month 2.5 yrs ago and now that I'm back in the area, here i come again. Food is good, service is excellent, bartenders are exceptional and the history of the place is interesting. It's popular so street parking is available but, you may need to put in a few steps. It's not the worst thing. If you're in the area or passing through, you won't be disappointed.
