My son and I arrived with our e-bikes from Two Harbors that needed charging for us to ride back (23 miles one way). McKenzie greeted was with a great smile and attitude and she allowed us to charge the batteries 🔋 of our e-bikes after I explained the situation. Daniella was our server and she was exceptional! She had a great smile, great attitude and constantly checked on us. Rodrigo was also very attentive and filled in often when Daniella was busy with other guests. Rodrigo worked hard with lots of engage constantly checking on us and sweeping and it was a bit slower. I was pleasantly impressed by the work ethic of all the servers. I found all the servers and door hosts were very attentive and friendly. I told Daniella I felt the manager of this restaurant was doing a great job because the servers and hosts were doing amazing. I’m very observant and I noticed all these things while watching the FIFA would cup game. So, thank you to the manager and servers for demonstrating great service. Thank you to the cooks for serving delicious food. We had the prime rib melt and the fish and chips. The tartar sauce was fresh, tangy, tasted great and cold which is very important for a delicious tartar sauce. Thank you to the owner for hiring the right people. What a great restaurant. We will definitely be back. It was an awesome you had plenty of televisions for us to watch the FIFA game.

Loved this place. The vintage original decor gives this place a cozy and charming feeling. The upstairs area was truly unique. We sat outside overlooking at the island while we enjoyed a Pina Colada, fish & chips, and my menu order was yummy. The fish was crispy to perfection, soft and tender. This location is walking distance to everything. Easy walk from the harbor and plaza area. Server was very attentive.

We had heard that food on the island was not great so we were a bit worried, but after visiting El Galleon, we know that anyone who says that has never visited this restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious, with top quality, fresh seafood, and beautiful presentation. A highlight was the scallop & clam chowder, only some members of our party ordered it but after everyone tried a bit, the remaining members of our party all ordered their own soups! The service was really fast and attentive, and we got our food brought to us very quickly even though we were a large group and the restaurant was filling up. No wait at all to seat a large group like us either, when other places in the vicinity were telling us up to a 1.5 hr wait. We are so glad we picked this place and we can't wait to go back! We will probably make the ferry trip from Long Beach to Catalina just to return!

What an amazing experience we had at El Galleon! The manager Luis was exceptional!! The food was delicious and the staff were on it! Thank you Luis! You made our July 4th week the best ever and we loved watching the parade from the front patio. We will be coming to see you again!

Ciopino was excellent (I asked for mine to be spicy) and went well with their house Long Island iced tea. My friend had the blackened Norwegian Salmon, paired with a mango margartia. Margarita was a little weak (likely a premix as opposed to fresh made), but tasty for a lightweight 😋 Right on the bay, this place has graleat atmosphere. I only marked less than 5.0 on service this time, becasue thenplace was half empty (Easter weekend), but it still took an hour tonget our food.
