I chose Auburn Auto Docs because of their excellent reviews and initially had a positive experience. They repaired my A/C for about $1,500, provided a loaner car, and told me the work was covered by a 3-year/30,000-mile warranty. About eight months later, my A/C stopped working again. I brought it back under warranty, but they couldn't determine the cause. After another visit and keeping my vehicle for a couple of days, I was told I needed approximately $4,000 worth of additional A/C repairs, including a new compressor and other major components. I was also told these issues were not covered under the warranty because they were considered new problems. Since I couldn't afford a $4,000 repair, I drove without A/C for several months before deciding to get a second opinion. Another local mechanic diagnosed the problem within a couple of hours as a failed A/C clutch relay. He replaced the relay, charged me about $200 total, and my A/C has been working perfectly ever since, including during several 95+ degree days. I understand that diagnosing automotive problems can sometimes be difficult, but the difference between a $4,000 estimate and a $200 repair was significant. Based on my experience, I would strongly encourage anyone facing a major repair estimate to get a second opinion before authorizing the work.

Excellent customer service and repair on my mom’s AC system on her Ford Escape. Being a business owner myself, you can tell when a business truly takes care of their customers and this shop is one of those businesses. I will definitely use them in the future!

I called the Auburn Auto Doctors Erick answered my call. My husband's car was not running well we thought it wo do some good in getting a oil change. The check engine light was on too. Plus it was eating all the coolant we were putting in it. Erick was very helpful and walked us through the process. He wanted to make sure we we're not going to spend extra unneeded things for his car. So he ren the test first and saw that it was in his words "NO BUENO" meaning not good. In other words its a POS and we are going to sell it as a mechanics special or to pick and pull. Thank you. I highly recommend this company very friendly service they prefer appts but understood our situation. I will return to do an oil change on my car when it's time. 😉

This is the second time I’ve had my oil changed at Auburn Auto Doctors and I am so happy with the way the employees are so nice. They are so thorough in their job and tell you every detail that went on. They even vacuum your car after. I can’t say enough positive stuff about them because it was such pleasure waiting for my car. And the little bag of cookies that is left on your steering wheel is a bonus. I’d recommend to everyone. Yay to these employees.

I’ve brought 3 older cars needing repair so far. They were really thoughtful about prioritizing the must-do-now’s and making a list to address over time. I’ll definitely be back with a 4th car soon. Erick is super friendly and great to help you figure out your vehicle. 10 out of 10 experience!
