I had a great experience at Gold Coast Dental. The staff was friendly, professional, and made me feel comfortable throughout the entire process. A special thank you to Diana for taking the time to explain all of the financing options and helping me find a payment plan that worked for my budget. The level of care and customer service was outstanding. I highly recommend Gold Coast Dental to anyone looking for quality dental care.

My name is 𝑴𝒐𝒉𝒂𝒎𝒆𝒅 𝑴𝒂𝒏𝒔𝒐𝒖𝒓 I was very disappointed with my experience at the Artesia office. The treatment felt rushed, and I did not feel that my concerns and questions were given the attention they deserved. I was also asked to have another X-ray, even though I had a panoramic X-ray taken just the day before at the Orange office. I was surprised that the previous X-ray was not considered or reviewed. More importantly, I felt that the communication with the oral surgeon was inadequate. When I tried to ask questions about my treatment and recovery, he appeared to be in a hurry and did not take the time to provide clear and thorough answers. I also expected him to physically examine the surgical area and check the healing process, but instead, he only explained things by looking at the screen, which did not give me the reassurance or information I needed. I understand that medical offices can be busy, but as a patient, I believe I deserve to feel heard, informed, and comfortable with my treatment and recovery. Unfortunately, this was not my experience at the Artesia office, and I would appreciate it if management could look into my concerns and provide an explanation. Thank you, 𝑴𝒐𝒉𝒂𝒎𝒆𝒅 𝑴𝒂𝒏𝒔𝒐𝒖𝒓

First I was unable to see the doctor I initially booked since they no longer work at the office. The doctor I was given would not speak directly to me and would only answer my questions by speaking to the assistant. They continuously changed the treatment they were going to give me and ended up numbing me and leaving me with nothing complete. First they said they could fill my cavities and give me a regular cleaning (exactly what I came in for). When I first met the doctor he said I needed to be cleaned first and then they would treat my cavities. They left and came back with tools to start the cavity treatment. I was confused and asked what about the cleaning? He did not asker me and the assistant had to speak to me on his behalf. When they were injecting me to numb me the doctor shook my face violently. I have never experienced that in a dentist’s office. When they started I could feel the doctor was cutting into my gums and not into my teeth. Then he complained there was too much blood. He said I needed a deeper cleaning and left me. The assistant explained I had too much plaque and that I would need an even more expensive procedure that I would have to come in for the next day. The same assistant told me I needed to get braces to prevent my teeth from chipping as I was getting older. When the assistant would speak with me he would go out of his way to touch my mouth and my teeth while we spoke, which was very unnecessary and uncomfortable. He would go from speaking, touching my face, to touching equipment with the same gloves. It felt like I was at an auto body shop where they wanted to add on more and more treatments just to get more money out of me. When I went to my own dentist since this office treated me for nothing, he told me I did not need a deeper cleaning and I would only need braces for aesthetics. If the office was unable to treat me they should have spoken to me with some professionalism. After the doctor left and the assistant explained I need the deeper cleaning, they left me in the chair for a while with my bib still on. I sat there by myself until I realized no one was coming and walked to the front. The treatment the initially wanted to give me was close to 200 with my insurance and now the treatment they wanted me to come back for was around 300. It felt like this office was much more interested in making money than providing care. The doctor left me numb and with cuts into my gums which bothered me for a full 24 hours after I went to the office. I left with more pain than I came in with. I wanted to go to my own trusted dentist after this terrible experience so I called to receive the X-rays I had taken at Gold Coast Dentist’s office. They said I needed to fill out a form and it would take a full 5-7 business days to send. They did not send it that first day I called so I called the next day and they sent it immediately. I called later that day after I had sent the form back to ask if there was any way they could speed up the process. They said no it was impossible so I asked if there were any documents they could send directly to me and they claimed it would break HIPPA. This is completely untrue and not a HIPPA violation. And while on that call they continue to try to get me to come back even after I had spoken with their manager about my experience and the grievances I had. This was a terrible experience and there was almost nothing positive I could say about this office.

My 20-year-old daughter came in for the Zoom whitening procedure in the Azusa California office. Through misunderstandings and repeat appointments she was finally able to get the procedure done. As far as five stars is concerned Letty did a tremendous job and has a very friendly voice on the phone and very professional. She is the reason why we chose this establishment and the reason for the five-star rating. As far as the procedure it seemed like they had office help who didn't know how to do the procedure work on my daughter. Her lips got burned as well as her gums from the bleach. They did do four treatments, 15 minutes each, so as you can see from the photo they turned out great. It will take a few days of healing from the bleach on the lips and gums but overall she's very very happy with the results. My recommendation would be for the actual Zoom procedure to have an actual dentist do it.

I cannot say enough good things about this dental office. From the moment I walked in, the entire staff made me feel genuinely welcome and comfortable. I’ve had braces twice in my life with two different dentists, and I’ve never felt this at ease at any dental appointment before. Coming back to the dentist after more than 10 years, I was honestly nervous — but this experience completely changed that for me. This has truly been the best dental visit I’ve ever had. The professionalism, kindness, and overall atmosphere made all the difference. Thank you to the whole team for making what could have been a stressful visit feel so positive and reassuring. I’m so grateful I found you!
