Crispy tempura, flavorful roll combinations, chill atmosphere and service with a smile. Parking can get tricky as the evening goes on but as long as you are able to walk a block it’s no trouble at all. Located right off the plaza this sushi restaraunt has a large dining area and sushi bar for single to group dining. We tried a couple appetizers, the Larripin roll, poke, Pamela roll and another one with strawberries I can’t remember the name of. All very flavorful but the Larripin was our least favorite, it’s a great restaraunt, but so good of a roll. We enjoy dining here and will be back to try more off the menu. If you have a large group reservations would be advisable.

Tomo (友) often means 'friend' or 'companion'. While Tomo-ni (共に) can refer to 'together' or 'with'. In the little town of arcata a special Japanese restaurant awaits you. We're you can make friends with a spicy hamachi plate and catch up with an old companion like a fresh salted edamame bowl. You might find good company with a serving of chicken Karaage and miso sauce. You could even bring everything together with some rainbow poke!

I went to this restaurant on a solo vacation trip, and had an absolute amazing time. The drinks were amazing, the service was top notch, and the food was Fantastic. They had the best Miso Soup I have ever had at any restaurant ever, and I had asked for a second bowl, praising it. The owner came by and gave me a third bowl of Miso Soup on the house, saying that was the best compliment they've gotten on it. At the end, I had eaten so much I couldn't finish my entree and had to take it to go. I loved my experience so much I had to buy a shirt, and spoke to the owner for a while about my trip. Overall, I had the best eating experience during my trip at this restaurant, and look forward to coming back again at some point in the future 😁

Food is decent. But the price for some of the dishes is outrageous. I’m glad we ended up sharing instead of ordering things for ourselves to save some money. The place is nice and the staff is lovely but I’m not sure I can justify these prices for food taste that doesn’t match. Presentation is great!

I loved everything here the food was great and the service was amazing,but I was not happy with the flys and the decor on the wall no the best vibe but it was great the rolls were good and the apatisers were great I would rate this a 4/5
