Players Pizza and Sports

Hoopa High School held our school reunion at Players Pizza in Anderson for the second year. Working with Penny and her staff was a joy. We were treated like royalty! The food was delicious. Appetizers, charcuterie boards, wings, and other finger foods were not what you would expect from a pizza place. Dinner was exceptional- gourmet salad, pizza, beer, wine and soft drinks. The home made warm chocolate cookies for dessert were to die for. Penny had the place beautifully decorated for us. I really don't have enough thanks for the effort that was put in to the evening. Players Pizza is not your every day Pizza Parlor - you walk through the door and feel like family.

First of all I love the inside decorations. There needs to be more restaurants preaching the lords name! Good old atmosphere like this is what’s missing in America these days! I’m just disappointed that the food wasn’t as good. I waited almost an hour and spent almost $40 on a combo pizza that was mediocre at best!

The pizza is the best we have found in this area. The roast beef sandwich was a bit light on beef, heavy on bread. Not a fan. You order yourself but they bring it to you. Atmosphere is laid back, lots of video games.

Came for the Car Show and left with some delicious pizza! I swear... the recipe has changed and the crust is so fluffy and tasty. It was good before but its better today! Buffalo Blue and All Meat are excellent pizzas.
