I have been staying at The Anaheim Hotel for over 10 years now, and it remains my absolute favorite place to stay when visiting Disneyland! You truly cannot beat the location. It is just a short, easy walk across the street to the parks, which makes heading back for a midday break or staying late for fireworks so convenient. Beyond the unbeatable proximity and the wonderful retro charm of the property, the staff here always go above and beyond. I recently needed some assistance sorting out a loyalty program issue and missing stay credits, and Candi C. was an absolute rockstar. She was exceptionally kind, attentive, and helpful, going out of her way to ensure everything was handled seamlessly. Thank you, Candi, and the entire team at The Anaheim Hotel, for always making me feel so welcome. I can't wait for my next visit during Halloween time!

Great location for Disneyland, but the overall value just isn’t there for me. The room itself was fine and being within walking distance of the parks is obviously convenient, but the extra charges add up fast. Parking was $40 per night after tax, so two nights of parking alone cost $80 When rooms are already around $289 per night, that pushes the real nightly cost well over $300 before food or anything else. At that price point, I’d rather compare rates with a nicer resort or even an onsite Disney hotel. The food pricing was just as frustrating. I paid $35 for meatless nachos and a side of sweet potato fries, which felt excessive for what it was. The location is definitely the hotel’s biggest advantage, but if you’re bringing a car and planning to eat onsite, the value drops quickly. I could understand these kinds of parking and food prices at a high-end resort, but for this property they felt hard to justify. I’d consider staying again only if I didn’t have a car and was mainly paying for the convenience of walking to Disneyland. Otherwise, there are better values nearby.

Not your ordinary Disneyland hotel. I’ve stayed at many of the chain hotels around Disneyland, but this was my first stay at The Anaheim Hotel, and it won’t be my last. Conveniently located right across the street from Disneyland, this hotel has a nostalgic Old Hollywood meets Palm Springs vibe that’s unlike anything else nearby. I loved that it’s only two stories with no long, claustrophobic hallways or crowded elevators. The lush grounds, open-air layout, and welcoming atmosphere make it feel like a private oasis instead of a typical hotel. We spent our Disney recovery day enjoying breakfast by the pool, relaxing for 7 hours with poolside service, crooner music in the morning, and a fun DJ in the afternoon. My favorite surprise? The pillows! I actually called the front desk to find out where I could buy them for my home. A special thank you to Jonathan, the manager, whose warmth and hospitality made our stay even more memorable. You can tell he genuinely takes pride in restoring and preserving this beautiful property. He shared that Palm Springs was one of the inspirations behind the hotel’s design, and it absolutely shows. I think I found my Disneyland hotel home. A true hidden gem that I only wish I’d discovered sooner.

We love the place. The hotel experience obviously depends on what you are staying in the area for. We have kids, we like to hang by the pool a bit, go to Disney, catch an Angels game, eat good food.. So we don’t hang out all day in a hotel room. But this place is awesome for everything we do. If you’re a hotel body and fancy, then go waste money on something else.

Really enjoyed our 3 night stay at the Anaheim Hotel- we loved the retro vibe, and the location can't be beat. The hotel has great outdoor amenities such as large hammocks, lawn games, fire pits, pool & hot tub. It wasn't quite warm enough for us to dip in the pool this time, but it is stunning and huge! The grounds are gorgeously landscaped with lots of beautiful tropical flowers, it really feels like an oasis and a break from the DL crowds. All staff members we encountered were friendly and very welcoming throughout our stay. We loved the convenient shop in the lobby (had purified water to refill reusable bottles, and easy grab and go breakfast options!). Our only feedback would be on the bathrooms in our Double Queen suite, and the in room wifi. As many other reviews have stated, they were outdated and could use some love. The wifi is also quite challenging to stay connected to, and when you are connected, many sites will not load. We had good cell service on property so it wasn't a huge issue for us. Overall, we had a wonderful stay here and would absolutely stay again on our next trip to Anaheim! It's the perfect affordable home base for the parks.
