This Restaurant was Mi Zacatecas before and it had amazing drinks and an extensive selection of really good FOOD .It was great to go eat or Dance the night away. I have been wanting to go and try Raíces for a While since I follow them on Social Media and the food looked good in the pictures. I ordered an Esquite, a Guacamole with Chicharon , which they did not have chicharon so I got it with chips , we also ordered A ceviche mixto and a Michelada. We got complimentary chips and salsa . The salsa honestly tasted like it was store bought and not made in house . The Guacamole was mid It was more like mush with a bunch of chunky tomatoes . I like mine with chunky avocado. But it is all my preference. The esquite was extremely salty and very small portion for $8. The ceviche mixto was ok. My husband did enjoy the Michelada. We also wanted to order a dessert I have never tried called Carlota they offer but unfortunately they did not have it .The service was outstanding and very attentive. In total I believe we spent around $64. I think I will not be back because the food that I order was not to our taste.

This place is honestly great, good quality and great customer service. The food has been nothing but exceptional, drinks are amazing they aren’t made with those nasty sugar syrups like other places. Great happy hour deals. The owner is so welcoming and always remembers a face. I’ve had nothing but great experiences here everyone I’ve told or recommended has loved it. My only take away is wish they had more traditional Mexican desserts to offer, but other than that great place for family and friends it won’t disappoint.

I can't say enough positive things about my experience at Raices! We were greeted warmly upon entering and sat quickly although there was seven in our party. Our server Alayna was amazing in every way. Her knowledge of the menu and genuinely friendly nature just made for a more enjoyable time. Food and drinks were outstanding! Highly recommend...run, don't walk and support this family owned establishment.

We waited over an hour for our food, and when it finally arrived, it was completely lacking in flavor. This wasn’t just my experience—everyone in my party felt the same way about their meals. After such a long wait, some of us had lost our appetite and barely wanted to eat. The service was also disappointing. Whenever we asked simple questions, we were met with attitude rather than courtesy or helpfulness. Basic items such as napkins, salt, and pepper were not readily available, and even standard accompaniments like chips and salsa came with additional charges. To make matters worse, the portions were small while the prices were surprisingly high. The previous owners were always kind, accommodating, and served delicious food. Unfortunately, the quality of both the food and service has declined significantly. I cannot recommend this restaurant based on our experience.

I didn't get any pictures of my gorgeous drink (La Reina) or the delicious food. I have been meaning to come in since they opened and finally stopped in today and I am so sorry I waited! I had a grilled chicken taco and pastor taco plate with refried beans. Usually, people get the beans and rice right and the meat is not the best. Or the meat is great and the sides are a let down. Well, I cleaned my plate! Everything is made fresh daily in house including the tortillas. This is a family owned restaurant on the second generation (previously was Mi Zacatecas) with Viri and Abel taking over for their parents. But the recipes are still the same ones-abuelo's bean recipe which explains why everything is so dang good! They have happy hour from 3-6 Tuesday through Friday, lunch specials, and brunch 8ingluding bottomless mimosas) on the weekends. I will be back!
