What a dive this place has become. General Manager is lousy he never get things fixed and lies to members about when things will be fixed or or get fixed. I've been a member here long enough to know this place has completely fallen apart, and the blame starts at the top. The General Manager is an absolute joke. Equipment breaks down and stays broken for weeks — meanwhile he feeds members one excuse and false promise after another. This is someone who either can't do his job or simply doesn't care. Either way, he has no business managing anything. The front desk staff are just as bad. Unprofessional, unhelpful, and somehow manage to make you feel unwelcome every single time you walk through the door. Checking in shouldn't feel like an interrogation, but here we are. One staff member in particular — Celeste — has been consistently rude and dismissive to members. As well as the Chinese girl, who cold and say nothing but seem like we are bothering her. And the facility itself is Disgraceful. Dirty, dingy, and neglected. I visited recently and the place looked like it hadn't been cleaned in days. Equipment scattered, surfaces filthy — it's embarrassing. Does management ever actually care? The entire staff culture here has rotted. Nobody seems to care. You get the distinct feeling everyone is just running out the clock on their shift while paying members are an afterthought. Going to the gym should be motivating. Coming here now feels demoralizing. Save yourself the frustration and find somewhere that actually respects its members. I hate coming here now. The culture of the staff has really changed and the gym is old, dingy and very dirty. I Went Yesterday and the was gym dirty as hell. It looked like a Tornado hit it. Don't the management see or have any pride in where they work? Its feel awful coming here when you check in and your hassled and the gym is filthy. It make you want to walk out not work out here.

I'm a regular gym-goer and have been a member at several gyms in this area over the past five years. Unfortunately, l've been consistently disappointed with this LA Fitness location since joining. The only real positive is the convenient location. Beyond that, the gym is poorly maintained and disorganized. Dumbbells are constantly scattered all over the floor and never returned to the racks, especially the lighter weights (5-25lbs) which are the ones most people actually use. It makes workouts frustrating and inefficient. The staff are generally nonchalant and don't seem to take much initiative. At other gyms I've belonged to, employees actively organize equipment and help keep things running smoothly. Here, that effort is noticeably lacking. On top of that, multiple machines-especially popular ones, have been broken for weeks with no clear timeline for repairs. To make matters worse, this is one of the busiest gyms in the area, so the disorganization and out-of-service equipment are felt even more. Overall, I expected much better for the price and reputation. Right now, this location falls far from short.

Asked to leave helmet in front the way I have seen plenty of other members leave large items in the front manager said she wouldn’t take it because it was a clutter. What bothers me is the inconsistency. Also machines are regularly broken and falling apart

Typically it is not over crowded... beginning of the year is packed (at 5a even) and newbies don't know gym etiquette. When joining a gym they should tell you to clean equipment after you use it. Alhambra locker rooms are nice and clean everyday it seems, other locations have dirty locker rooms.

5/9/2022 I go to the fitness store, Julio help me, I think he is a good salesperson, he introduced the Fremont store to me, step by step, a lot of detail and give me very good offer, I really appreciate him. He is nice and friendly and give me very good customer service and he has so many patience to the customer. So finally I register from him, so I want to give him 5 stars review and hope he can get more and more customers and hope the store better and better. Clean place and very good location in Alhambra. Close to my house and working place. I will often go there. Because I need loose weight. Lol I try to use these machines and feel fun, it is my first time play in fitness in my life. Right now I want to try boxing.
