Overall a pleasant experience. Went for an evening event with my girlfriend and we enjoyed our time. Food wasn't half bad, with the majority of the menu being vegan (with options to add chicken, etc). Friendly staff and prompt service. Parking was no issue. There's a dedicated, albeit small, free parking lot right next to the building. There is also street parking available around the block so head there if you don't have room at the lot. For food, we ordered the loaded nachos (with chicken) to munch on, and for drinks we ordered the "Very Magical Cat" & the "All My Best". The nachos were pretty good, though I wish they added a bit more cheese (the chicken was flavourful though). Drinks are all non-alcoholic, so no need to worry if that's a concern for you and taste wise were decent as well. They also host frequent events, so if you plan on stopping by I would definitely consider seeing if there are any that interest you. It's a small, cozy spot good for parties of 2-6. Seating is limited though, so keep that in mind. Would recommend giving it a shot, particularly if you have a group or are looking for a cozy outing with someone.

Free Spirited Bar is an absolute gem. It is incredibly refreshing to walk into a restaurant where the entire menu is vegan by default (they do offer an option to add halal chicken if desired), a total 180 from the usual experience of hunting for that one token plant-based option. As a group with diverse dietary needs, we were blown away by how seamlessly accommodating they were. We ordered the Alfredo pasta with mushrooms, the marinara pasta, and the buttered scallops, finishing off with the Dirt Coupe mousse for dessert. Every single dish was amazing. The pasta is made in house, and most menu items are made from scratch. A special shout out goes to the gluten-free bread, it was so outstanding we completely forgot it was gluten-free. It is a sober bar, they don't even have alcohol in their vanilla extract. However, their non-alcoholic cocktail list is extensive. We tried about eight different drinks among us, and each one featured incredibly unique flavor combinations and beautiful presentation. The owners are so sweet and clearly understand dietary restrictions on a personal level. They took the time to patiently explain everything and made us feel completely at home. I don't live locally, but you can bet Free Spirited Bar will be my go-to spot anytime I’m in town! Forgot to add they are dogs friendly and will even bring you out a water bowl for them.

This is not a place for everyone but if you want a dark dive place to be left alone, while people in the background play mahjong (Wed and Thurs) and you can sip on a decently priced tasty mocktail (they're so pricey elsewhere), then this place is for you. They carry a vegetarian menu and I can only vouch for the "calimari" (mushrooms) which were delicious and hit the spot. The service was great.

We were looking for a place that serves good mocktails when we found this spot online. We’re so happy we found this gem! They have a lot of unique mocktails to choose from, and the name perfectly matches the vibe. I don't drink alcohol, but I really enjoy mocktails, we occasionally look for halal and sugar free dishes, and this place ticks all the boxes. Whether you're looking for halal, sugar-free, or other dietary options, they have something for everyone. The food is yummy and the drinks are great. Highly recommended!

This is the first I've heard of a mocktail bar. They serve drinks with no alcohol! I recommend checking out the menus on their website. It's easier to read and has pictures. They also help you categorize it by flavor profile. I thought the drinks were pricey for not having alcohol, but they tasted good. I tried a couple bites of the "calamari" (fried mushroom) and caprese. I don't usually cook, but the caprese I make at home tastes better T.T All the food here is vegan, and I wasn't very impressed with the two that I ordered already. I wouldn't order food again here. They've been hosting many community events, so I love that for them. *Note: their Yelp page says: This business is being monitored by Yelp's Support team for content related to media reports.
