My 9-year-old Subaru Forester needed some repairs that come with being a dog and gardener’s car—including damaged seatbelt buckles. I took it to Albany Subaru Service. My experience was excellent—Daniel checked me in quickly, and another person walked me around the loaner car, making sure to identify scratches, some of which I couldn’t even see! (Appreciate that!) They provided an inspection and routine oil change, as well as assessed and ordered parts. Results were detailed and clearly communicated in writing, and there was a short video showing dirty filters (I approved replacement) and a check of all lights. They discovered a warranty-covered issue as well as a few other age-related problems that I’ll have my usual (also excellent) mechanic take care of. Pickup was as seamless as dropoff. Everyone was friendly. For a garage it was amazingly clean (I had a temp job in a garage decades ago, and appreciate meticulously organized shops, but the cleanliness standard they have there is truly impressive). It’s also a well ventilated and lit facility. This shop is quite a distance from where I live, and I have no public transit option to get home—they provided me a loaner. I appreciate that they took good care of me and my trusty car.

We visited the Subaru dealership yesterday and had a great experience with Ashur. Although we haven’t made a final decision about purchasing a vehicle yet, we were very impressed with the service we received. Ashur was extremely friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. He showed us the vehicle, took us on a test drive, and explained all of its features and benefits in detail. He answered our questions patiently and made the entire experience comfortable and enjoyable. We left with a very positive impression of both Ashur and the dealership. Love, love, love my new Subaru Forester! I opted for a 2023 Certified Pre-owned model with only 34,000 miles. My salesman listened to what I was looking for and found me a Forester that has everything I was looking for. The loan officer made everything really easy. The best thing is I feel so secure driving a high rated safe vehicle. Thank you Albany Subaru for a great experience and a great new SUV!
