Golden State Valkyries Library Card Decals Are Now Available in Fremont

Golden State Valkyries fans in Fremont have a new way to show their team pride: limited-edition Valkyries library card decals are now available through Alameda County Library.

The decals launched on September 17 and are available at all Alameda County Library locations and Mobile Library stops, including the Fremont Library, while supplies last.

Two limited-edition designs

The library collaborated with the Golden State Valkyries on two decal designs. One features a Valkyries player dribbling a basketball, while the other is inspired by Violet, the team’s mascot.

Library cardholders can choose one design and place the decal directly over the front of their existing library card. You keep the same card number—it’s simply a new look for the card you already use.

Only one per library card

Because supplies are limited, Alameda County Library is allowing one decal per library card.

You’re encouraged to bring your library card when picking one up, although the library says you may still receive a decal if you don’t have the physical card with you. Families can also pick up decals for multiple household members as long as each person has their own Alameda County Library card.

Don’t have a library card?

Alameda County Library cards are free for people who live, work, or attend school in California. That means someone without a card can sign up and then take part in promotions like the Valkyries decal giveaway.
