Agoura Hills Water Facility Begins Shoring Work This Week

Shoring installation is beginning this week at the Advanced Water Purification Facility site in Agoura Hills, according to the Las Virgenes–Triunfo Joint Powers Authority’s construction update for the week of October 5.

The project team expects this phase to last about two weeks. Nearby residents may notice additional construction noise and possible vibration during daytime work.

Concrete, rebar and foundation work will also continue for the future treatment building. Crews are carrying out underground electrical and plumbing work along the retaining wall.

The update says construction activity remains inside the facility site. Heavy vehicles and equipment will continue using the entrance, so drivers nearby should watch for construction traffic.

Separately, the authority reports pipeline work on Agoura Road between Lindero Canyon Road and Lakeview Canyon Road in neighboring Westlake Village. That work is outside Agoura Hills and is expected to involve daytime and nighttime activity over four to six months.

Construction schedules can change with conditions. Residents seeking the latest details can check the project’s official updates or contact its outreach team at (818) 245-4440.
