Tri-Valley’s 925 GIVES Campaign Continues Through September 30

A regional giving campaign serving the Tri-Valley is still open for residents who want to support local nonprofits before the end of September.

Three Valleys Community Foundation is holding its second annual 925 GIVES campaign, bringing together nonprofits that serve communities across Alameda and Contra Costa counties. The campaign’s main 24-hour push took place September 25, but the broader 2026 giving window remains open through September 30.

DanvilleSanRamon.com reported that 85 nonprofits were participating in this year’s effort. As of the morning of September 25, 137 donors had contributed $26,237 to 36 nonprofits, toward an overall campaign goal of $92,500.

The idea behind 925 GIVES is to make it easier for residents to discover organizations working close to home. Participating groups cover a range of issues and services, including education, health, housing, food insecurity, the environment, arts, community programs and local journalism.

For Danville and San Ramon Valley residents, the campaign offers a single place to browse organizations that serve the wider Tri-Valley rather than having to find each nonprofit individually.

The campaign is also designed to bring new donors into local philanthropy. Organizers have used matching gifts, challenges and other incentives to encourage people to support organizations they may not have encountered before.

Last year’s inaugural campaign raised more than $117,000 for 87 local nonprofits, according to the report. This year’s campaign continues through September 30, giving residents a few more days to review participating organizations and decide whether they want to contribute.
